I have known Jeremy for many years, and his company has helped with our family’s travel plans. So here is the shout out. Sometimes things don’t go according to plan, and it sets in motion a list of unintended consequences. Basically, my wife took an out of date passport with her to the UK (I kept the old and new ones beside each other!) Now given she is a New Zealand citizen you might think this wasn’t a problem. The issue didn’t turn out to be the NZ authorities but the airline – they were not going to let her board the plane in London. Now you can start to imagine the stress that built up and calls were made to a number of authorities with whom it is tough to talk to a physical person; you know the deal. Hit 1 for this, hit 2 for that etc.

Now some people wouldn’t help, others a bit, but not Jeremy he pulled out all the stops, he called the right people even at unfriendly hours and smoothed out the whole process and guess what, everything went without a hitch.

Here is the moral of the story, the ticket to the UK could have been purchased online with no travel agent involved, but this is exactly why it pays to have someone able to bat on your behalf. So my advice is to pay a bit more (if indeed you have to) and get peace of mind, no matter what you do.
